Yep, WordPress 2.0 is now out & available for download, go grab it!! 😀 It may say WP1.5.x on the download page as the release haven’t been announced yet officially on the WordPress Dev Blog, but the download is definitely WP 2.0, I can vouch for that as I’ve personally verified it by downloading the same!! 😉
I was hoping to grab this earlier, but Mark got to it before me!! 😉 And WordPress site has been newly dressed and the new plain layout looks pretty neat!! 🙂

The permalink structure does’nt work with 2.0 on my site. I get 404’s all over the place, even though it shows the htaccess has been edited.
When I revert to the index.php?{postid} structure, things work, but nothing else does.
well, some problems are expected with every major update of a software, this is no different. I’ll have a look at it & then see what the hell this is all about!! 😉 meanwhile you can also check out the WordPress Support Forums for any threads & replies on the topic!! 🙂
